Holy Orders

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

The Sacrament of Holy Orders celebrates the ministry of Jesus as priest, prophet and servant-leader.

Through Holy Orders, men called by God are consecrated to do a particular kind of service in Christ’s name – that of leading and nourishing the Body of Christ with the Word of God and the grace of the sacraments.
